Los Vélez is a Spanish region located in the northern part of the province of Almería. This territory borders the Almería regions of Levante to the southeast and Valle del Almanzora to the south; the Granada regions of Baza to the southwest and Huéscar to the west; as well as the Murcia regions of Noroeste to the north and Alto Guadalentín to the east.
It comprises four municipalities, the most populated of which is Vélez-Rubio, and the largest, Vélez-Blanco, which is also the second largest in the entire province. Conversely, the municipality with the fewest inhabitants is María, and the smallest in area is Chirivel.

Its traditional and historical capital is the town of Vélez-Rubio.
Like the other regions of Almería, it is only recognized geographically, not politically. The region is made up of the following municipalities: Chirivel, María, Vélez-Blanco and Vélez-Rubio
