Gádor, our municipality → Christmas, New Year's Eve, Epiphany (Navidad, Nochevieja, Reyes)

Christmas Eve (December 24): It is traditional to sing Christmas carols and eat a special meal, usually including seafood, turkey, or ham. Typical sweets include nougat, marzipan, and polvorones.
Christmas (December 25): Nativity scenes and Christmas trees are often seen in homes, usually made of plastic due to the lack of natural trees.
New Year's Eve (December 31): Celebrate by eating twelve grapes with each chime of the clock. Then say "Happy New Year" and toast with Cava.
Epiphany (January 6): The three kings Melchor, Gaspar and Baltasar bring the children gifts, which they leave in their shoes while everyone sleeps. January 6 is celebrated with the eating of Roscón de Reyes, a cream cake with a surprise inside.
