Granada, undoubtedly one of the pearls of Spain, is one of the most visited places in the world by tourists. The long-standing capital of Moorish Andalusia has the most important monuments from this era, especially the world-famous Alhambra.
Stroll through beautiful gardens and flower-filled narrow streets, enjoy 'Treveléz ham' with local wine in one of the many typical taverns, and breathe in the atmosphere of centuries of history that surrounds you everywhere. Gypsies sing and dance flamenco in the streets and squares, and a visit to their cuevas (caves) in the hill of Sacromonte, where many of them actually still live, should be a must on any visit to Granada. The numerous regional festivals, which follow both Christian and Moorish traditions, are also extremely attractive.

Geographically, Granada is located at the foot of the Sierra Nevada, the highest mountain range in Spain (the Mulhacén mountain has 3478 m), with excellent winter sports options. On the other hand, the Mediterranean is not far, making Granada an ideal holiday destination for every season.
