The towns that make up the Almanzora region, watered by the river that gave its name to this district, have in common the mountainous landscapes and the natural, sometimes unusual, views that can be enjoyed especially from the castles and fortresses.

The peace and serenity that one experiences here is also crystallized in the customs, which will undoubtedly attract the attention of visitors. There are villages that are so small that they don't even have a pub, which is why you can see the residents gathered in the village square at lunchtime, drinking a glass of wine and eating a little something.
The cave houses are also typical buildings in these mountain villages, these are dwellings that are a major tourist attraction. They mix in the small villages with low houses with slate or stone roofs.
